She loves to hold it and rub it along her gums.  She doesn't have any teeth yet, but I'm sure they will be coming in the next couple of months.Owen has been building things like crazy. At New Hope, we don't baptize or christen.  Instead, we have a dedication service, which is actually more for the parents.  We pledge to raise Owen in such a way that honors God. Happy Birthday, Owen!! The Olympics have been on for almost a week and the big talk is of course, Michael Phelps.  I understand his popularity, but unfortunately, I have really only seen him swim once.  By the time it is time for the Olympics at night, I'm so tired I fall asleep on the couch or am taking care of Owen. Owen is doing fantastic.  He now weighs 7 lbs 1 oz!!  Mommy is so proud and trying to relax a little bit about nursing.  Owen is really a sweet boy.  He definitely has found his voice, but is usually quite content to just be held or sat in his bouncy seat or his swing.
